Timothy Walker was selected by Prof. Arthur Jones to wield the Zulu Iklwa that once belonged to one of Shaka Zulu's most trusted chieftains. When Timothy wields the Iklwa he can tap into generations of Zulu warriors and is imbued with spirit energy that transform his body. Prof Jones went through several candidates, all who failed to withstand the power held within the Iklwa, before coming across Timothy. Timothy wasn't only a fighter, having fought his whole life on the mean streets of Baltimore, but possessed a strong will that allowed him to force the spirits held within the Iklwa to view him as their new chieftain. Timothy became the Spirit Warrior and joined Prof. Author's Ancient Society of Injustice hoping to make money and leave behind Baltimore. Spirit Warrior has proven to be more than capable of fighting the Teen Titans and his connection to the Spirit Realm makes him a threat to Titans with a connection to the supernatural like Raven and Jericho.
