Description
Here's a sketch I created for an art proposal, where I was pitching a Old American Western styled comic. It's called Bounny Hunters and I'd give you the general outline, but the story is still a work in progress. Please keep in mind that this is merely concept art and I don't have everything factually correct, so I'm willing to hear any critiques you have to offer.
These sketches are of my protagonists, Valentino & Abraham, who are both work as Bounty Hunters. Abraham grew up in a very religious town and originally wanted to be a priest, but several unfortunately circumstances led to him being outcasted from his community, whereas Valentino is charismatic playboy who used to work as Cowboy in Durango, Mexico until he was faced with his own unfortunate set of circumstances, causing him to lose his position. Having both been outcasted from their social groups, both of them work together as Bounty Hunters alongside their friend, Pedro, who will appear in his own Bio.
Abraham is based on the typical stoic antihero archetype and his design was heavily stylized, most notably inspired by Lupin the 3rd, Sym Bionic Titan, Wyatt from Tombstone, and Gun Frontier.
Valentino at first appears to be an air-headed player, but he is generally very friendly & kind-heart towards most people. Admittedly, Johnny Depp, Disney's Tangled & Aladdin, One Piece, and Doc & Mr. Fabian from Tombstone played a big role in his character development so far.
