I am a pokefan to confess ... and I really like sceptile so much he is so green !!!he is one of the best sweepers too , I prefer ev trainign him in speed and attack and give him a power orb although if you miss to attack you know u will fain the next round , so he is weak in defense .
In double battle a prefer getting a pokemon that knows helping hand to llow more stregth for him .
His attacks are :
Leaf blade
X sizzor
rockslide
Detect ( really useful never underestimate it !!! )
Leaf blade is a STAB
Xscizor for same type opponents
Rockslide is for flying , fire and bug ( Super effevtive pokemons)
Detect is a free turn move , perheps ur oppenet uses fly

Funny thing is that you didn't intend it to look female. Still, Sceptile's face really looks that way there. Specially the eye and the expression.
On a second note, Sceptile is one of my favorite grass starters. He has this confident, cool attitude. So does Serperior.
