Description They’re out there somewhere in pouring rain
They stand in place, so weak, through endless pain
Through longest nights and then through darkest gloams
Past missed days and then past missed homes

For all of eternity they did burn
In pain for foreverness they would yearn
A never ending nightmare upon them
An agonizing daydream without gems

The smallest light still shines at the end
The tiniest voice will whisper to a friend
To stand up slowly, facing death’s great eye
Then scream out loudly, singing your battle cry

Then without simple, basic, human rights
And beyond harder, longer, painful nights
Despite the hurt, they’ll keep fighting the gloam
Forget the pain, they’re still coming home

They're coming home...

Ty! Dealing with hard things can be really, well... hard. But it makes the simpler things in life so much nicer.

Very true. I think we appreciate things more after overcoming difficult moments or obstacles.

Yeah. It really does feel like the pain and peace work together to make eachother sharper
