interesting concept but theres just something that's not quite right about it. Its the first piece youve submitted in ages that looks ameture although I cant quite put my finger on what it is thats just spoiling it .. :s...... It might be the fact that the tree and the siluette of you/the person are different shades but are on the same plain/distance within the photo so this is a conflict as you are using how light the silluetes are to suggest depth and how far in the distance they are but it is imposible for them both to be different shades. It makes it look fake. The same goes for the small animals at the front, its a bit random so confuses me.

yeah cheers mate, explaination is that i was kind of making it an abstract style piece so didnt worry too much about this, no one has mentioned the elephant yet, which is small compared to the other animals cos its faded out..so i just want to say that its a baby elephant haha..

But seriously - the rainbow is completely wrong, light does not refract in that sequence. But the platypus makes it all better!

The inner most colour - Pink - technically shouldn't be there. It should be purple, or violet.

yeah i know, i did use that you know, but once the opacity was faded it appeared like one big band of colour at the bottom (the 2 purple / pink colours) so i changed it to pink. I wanted it a different colour, who cares if we reinvent the last colour of the rainbow on our own work, it wouldnt have worked otherwise, i wanted to be free, fuck the 'rules' who cares about 'technicalities' when your creating an image you want the way you want..

It would be nice if the animal shapes at the bottom contoured the crinkles in the paper to look printed on. The bottom half looks a little bit too "floaty", I think. Still, very nice design. The faded rainbow looks wonderful and I love the bird shapes at the top.
