The Dark Tower series is probably the best books in fantasy next to Wheel Of Time series. People are excited about Game Of Thrones. Which is alright I enjoyed the books. However I think it lacks the engrossing character development geography that W.O.T and D.T. has to offer.

i love how everything's monochromatic aside from the beasties' eyes. very dramatic, gives off the perfect doom effect. it must be a particularly nasty beastie in front if the gunslinger is focused on that instead of the creepy little buggers behind him.
