Unless the blade was made from very tough material, it would break upon harder hit. I mean, this is very, very thin connection.
Other than that, great job. I would certainly use it in fantasy world where things don't break from anything other than plot

It's pretty cool but there are some design flaws like I would make the handle abit straighter for easier use of the blade but not completly straight so it's hard to use and maybe a bit more distance between the gun and blade so it dose'nt hit the blade if it's bending from the force of pulling up to shoot after slashing

the most useful weapon ever! though surprisingly sword-guns did exist. and man were they wierd lookin.
