"Well, I guess you might as well pick what you want from here now." Ada turned around with an annoyed expression. "Something's barring the door from the other side. It won't open. I guess we'll be stuck in this room for a while." She folded her arms and leaned against the wall. Claire meanwhile turned back to the shelves. "In that case, let's see what we have here."Ada raised an eyebrow, "Oh, you weren't kidding?"
"Yeah, why not? If we're stuck waiting here anyway, might as well make the best of it, right?" Claire replied, still surveying the selection.
Curiosity getting the better of her, Ada walked over to the shelves against the other wall and looked over all the food. "I mean, are you sure it's a good idea? Who knows how long it's been sitting in here." She had to admit, it smelled tempting. Her mouth was watering just being near it, but she couldn't help but be a little skeptical. Claire seemed to have no such concerns however, "It seems fine to me," she said as she swiped a bit of icing off a slice of cake and into her mouth. "Mmh, so good. The icing is amazing!" Claire reached for the slice she just taste-tested, licking her lips as she did.
