Here is my entry for the San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Souvenir Book celebrating the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who!! I wanted to put together a piece that really highlighted ALL the Doctors. I struggled with an idea for a good 2 months and didn't come up with this particular concept until recently. But I am so satisfied with how this turned out!! The idea was to play with the word "run" as it is the longest running sci-fi show (and still going strong), and that it is what the Doctor does when the situation calls for it: basically ... RUN! lol

The hardest part about this concept was trying to get the right colors for the earlier Doctors. Photo ref is all over the place, so I had to do a lot of referencing from toys and action figures instead. I'm not sure about how submissions are handled, if entries have to be hand-picked, since this is my first time submitting art. But I hope mine ends up being printed in the book.

Doctor Who has become one of my all-time favorite series and I just wanted to contribute to it's amazing 50 year RUN!
