Description
After a whole year of indecision and having this thing buried i have finaly painted the destroyed Tau colony desert board.

Fullview to realy get a good look at it. I will eventualy take better pictures once i get a decent camera.

It took me some time to realy test out what colors worked but i finaly settled on a deep brick red color as a base then i highlighted the rocks via drybrush with a far lighter tan. After this i blended it with a darker tan via airbrush. The airbrush realy makes it feel more alive and natural.

To highlight the destroyed and barren feeling of the old crumbling roadways i airbrushed them with a very watered down version of the darker tan blend.I also highlighted their edges a bit with this to look like dirt was being blown on to the white concrete.

Lastly i highlighted everything one last time with a very very light drybrushing primarily on the rocks and a few random areas of the boards flatlands.
