Not getting it...in more ways than one. Which transform do I do this to?

Run the script so as to let it clear the flame. That leaves/gives 8 transforms and the final, don't do anything with those, they are the grid structure. Add a transform and give it the cylinder settings. You should then have tubes. You can then add more transforms to make bubbles.
