This is so pretty! I was just wanting to ask how you get the lines so smooth when inking hair? I've been trying to get better but my lines are always uneven and I'm not sure if I should be doing smaller strokes (I can get them a bit smoother that way) or practice doing them in one loooong stroke DX Any tips?

That's kind of a hard one to answer because I do a lot of building up on my lines after colors are laid down. My initial line might be one big swoop, but then I'll go back in and thicken them up, or in most cases I blend multiple colors into the lineart so in that area its definitely smaller strokes. My regular line art style is kind of misleading because of the color blending, its something that I think helps my lines look neater without me having to keep them perfectly clean lolΒ Having the right pen for YOUR personal needs also helps. A lot of people tend to obsess over finding the finest pen they possibly can, but I've found I produce much cleaner lines with bolder pens (unless I'm doing an aceo or fine facial details or something)

Overall, I think the most important thing for smooth lines is simply being confident in your strokes, and I can speak from experience, that's something that just comes naturally with time and practice.Β

Oh okay! Yeah I have gotten better as I've grown a bit more confident I just wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong or not since my lines still weren't as smooth as I wanted them to be XD Thank you so much!

This is very, very nice! I like how your lineork is, and how suitable the colors are.
