Ah, finally done.2007
24" x 24"
Acrylic on stretched canvas.
Martinis - shaken and stirred. With giant green olives...the "DD" in this one was requested by my friend to signify him and his significant other, but it could easily mean designated driver, huh? I know I need one even after even one wimpy martini...you know, like a chocolate one.
Commission for my friend Dennis. Requested one in earthy tones.
Note: Need to retake the pic because the metallics on here are much darker...more of a dull pewter. But you know... flashes and metallics. Hard to light without looking harsh.

i like it because it's like it's zippered together at the top. very funky.

Interesting. I didn't think about that. I usually cut that design at the midpoint but decided to just taper it off, so it does kind of look like it is being unzipped.
