Watercolor and pens on aquaboard.
Rinsed off and repainted to get the graininess in some areas.
To me this began to look like something you can see on Google Earth, looking down on a rain forest maybe.

You're ver welcome. I am indeed, though not very successfuly as you see. Still to start on the canvas work, lost most of the canvases I bought on ebay in the move. Found one, daresay the others are about somewhere, though I have some christmas money I can buy more with. I think I am nervous about starting, so haven't! It's something i have never done before, so am reluctant to start if you know what I mean. By, have you checked out the work of *natasha-cinnamon she is on my watch. Very prolific and exhibits a lot here in the UK, sells a lot too.

Gah, moving is such a pain! Well, you may be pleasantly surprised by what you can do with the new medium. The great thing about acrylic is that most times you can paint right over it if you are unhappy with it. I just set up another studio in my house to paint the larger acrylic pieces. I will probably do some of those over the holidays.
Her work is very nice. It is very peaceful and the colors are subdued.

Gorgeous greens - the layers give so much depth and the 'messages' seem to want to draw attention: "Look, here, this is it..."
