Description
This has been a project I have wanted to do for some time. I have always had a soft spot for Jane Parker, wife of George Boleyn and sister in law to Queen Anne Boleyn. I doubt the infamy she has attracted through history and want others to share my vision of her. While the original Holbein sketch is of Grace, Lady Parker by marriage to Jane's brother Henry (her father and nephew were all also Henry, it gets very confusing!) it is often brought up as being Jane. I have an engraving print of this by Bartolozzi staring at me in my living room and have long wondered what she looked like completed. Kinda crazy to think this portrait was started some 500 years ago with that first sketch. Painted in Artrage 5.
