Description Was messing with the Sterlingware last night and came up with this li'l creature... Should have named it Purple (and Green) People Eater...LOL. It's name came from an old song of the late 50's...[link]

I didn't have to do much color editing other than the slight embossing effect with the "lighting effects" of the Photoshop and of course resizing. Except for the lack of webbed feet and hands, I reminded me a bit of the Creature from the Black Lagoon, too.

Cool! I love fractals. I took out a library book one year and it had a fractal program CD inside. It was quite fun to play around with.
I've heard you can make landscapes with fractals too.

I got the name from an old song from the late 50's called the Purple People Eater... [link] It was a cute song. I think they even made a movie about it... Think it was a bit before your time...

Ri-i-ight... One of our local radio personalities (KFYR) has been catching a lot of flack about jinxing the Vikes as they've been losing ever since he went to the game about 4 weeks ago...LOL. And, the sports director is a Packers fan...so, there is a lot of ribbing going around at the station....

yup .. but the Twins when they had Tom Kelly ,KirbyPuckett,Jack Morris, Dan Gladden, Kent Hrbek,et al .. they kicked ass ..in 87 and 91 ..lived in Mpls for both those wins and Minnesota pride was at an all time high and everyone I knew had a homer hankey.

I buy a chance on the Twins baseball pool that the Legion, back where I used to live, runs every year....mostly I contribute, but last year I made money and was only down $5 this year... They fund their Legion baseball program for kids with it. With only 100 or so tickets sold. Then, they pay out $10 for 100 games and $25 on the All Star game..
