The drake half isn't a stegosaur. It's supposedly aΒ Dacentrurus, a type of Stegosaur relative found near Swindon, England.

But I guess it don't make a difference either way because they're both Stegosaurids (to which I corrected myself in the description a bit)

It doesn't, but I just love it when Pokemon uses more seldom seen species. Both obscure animals and extinct animals.
