My characters and restaurants exist with in an AU, where only the events of FNAF 1, 2, and 4 have happened. In this universe animatronics are insanely popular for family entertainment, many restaurants, amusement parks, and other fun places frequented by families have animatronics with advanced AI. Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria is a highly popular chain with more then one restaurant (not a ton of them, maybe about ten or so of them spread across with USA). They were the first to use animatronics for entertainment and also the number-one buyer and refurbisher of old animatronics. The restaurant did have its problems (anything that happens in the games mentioned above) in the past, but they’ve grown past that now and have retained their status as a favorite place for young and old. Not so surprisingly, these animatronics aren’t without their problems, there AI is evolving and they are beginning to attain self-awareness and human like qualities. Something in their programing is also turning many of the animatronics against humans; it’s possible that it has to do with glitches in their night mode that causes them to see humans and endoskeletons.

My characters exist in one of the other Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzerias with in this universe, not the one from the game, but their largest complex in Florida, it’s part restaurant part theme park and staffed by many animatronics. It’s called Freddy Fazbear’s Fun Palace. There is a completely different guard and restaurant layout. The main characters still exist at this restaurant but it also houses several location specific characters as well as many decommissioned animatronics.

On the topic of Haunted animatronics, there are a few but not many with in my AU. As this is a different restaurant animatronics will only be possessed if some specific situation happened where said animatronic was part of the death of a child.
