Where my Nuka fans at?

This stinky lil cub (sorry, but they had to have named him that for a reason) was meant to be Scar's chosen heir when he (thought) he couldn't reproduce. He was Zira's first cub birthed during the tyrant's rein and the only male cub within the pride at the time. Nuka was born sickly and weak, but he was the only male cub he could pass off as his own so Scar was heavily debating his choice. Right when he thought he had no other options (cause he didn't really want a female cub to be his heir), a lioness gave birth to a cub whose appearance much resembled Scar and he could see his potential. So just before he was dethroned by Simba, he announced that Kovu would be the next king.

This decision at the time had really no affect on Nuka, as he was just a cub, concerned with nothing more that playing and watching over his baby sister Vitani when their mother was hunting. But when Scar was defeated and Zira took Kovu from his family before being exiled, he started to become a bit jealous as his mother gave all her attention to the little infant. She didn't really even give Vitani much either, only really just keeping her fed and warm at night.

Quickly, things changed for young Nuka. Not only did he and his pride now live in a new and barren land, but his mother no longer acknowledged him for anything more than telling him to watch his sister and "brother" when she left to search for food. He tried getting her to notice him, to play with him, to love him. But all his attempts ended with her snarling at him to shut up or leave. She was too focused on raising Kovu. All because he was destined to kill Simba and take back the throne as king.

This all of course leads to Nuka asking why he wasn't chosen to be king, saying he should have been. Said he could. This all being because he sees that the only way for him to get his mother's love (well, mainly just approval since she isn't very loving) and attention is if he can prove himself to be more worthy of being king that Kovu, as well as being a good son. Which of course leads to why he would hunt for her, (begrudgingly) help with setting the fire, and tries to go after Simba himself.

I would have actually liked to see him make it. He would have been tore up for a while after Zira's passing, but I think living in the Pridelands with good lions would help him along. And he could see just how badly his mother treated him and the rest of the pride. (Low key, I'd actually liked to have seen a sort of mother/son bonding between him and Sarabi. I feel like that would have been a good relationship for him)
