In middle school, we were all Sailormoon.It started in the 6th grade, when my friend Amy had the brilliant idea of making herself a Sailormoon character. She asked me to draw her as "Sailor Star."
Soon we were all "Sailor Stars" of some sort - I was Golden Star, Amy became Silver Star, etc...
October 2013 Update: I found the fanfic that involves these characters. It's terrible! Top to bottom, left to right, here is what I remember:
In Green: Jana
Sailor name: Star Breeze. She has wind powers
In Rainbow: Kori
Sailor name: Star Song (confirmed). She has musical powers
In Black: Jenny
Sailor name: Star Shadow. She uses a knife weapon and shadow powers
In Purple: Shelby
Sailor name: Star Seeker
Middle, brunette: Amy
Sailor name: Silver Star
Middle, reddish hair: Me
Sailor name: Golden Star
Cat: Ivana (she wanted to be a star cat)
In Yellow: Kelly
Sailor name: Star Wave (as in heat waves)
In Blue: Carrie
Sailor name: Star Splash
In Orange: Melanie
Sailor name: Star Fire
I don't know any of these girls anymore. Some didn't go to the same high school, and those of us who did eventually fell out of touch and joined different cliques, but for three years, we were all Sailormoon.

Such memories! I pretty much did the same thing with a friend in the 6th grade too. I don't remember the names of our Senshi but I do remember drawing the both of them for us. And the transformation sequences. And the stupid fan fiction where Prince Diamond was madly in love with my senshi, and Sapphire in love with hers. Good times XD

haha when i was younger my friend told me that she was actually sailor moon and i was actually sailor jupiter, and we were really from the moon kingdom..... and i believed her! hahahaha

THAT IS SO CUTE!! Brings back memories. I was Sailor Saturn (she wasn't on the show then) and I made my sister be Sailor Earth and my best friend be Sailor Star. I never thought to use star-variations like that! Your cast got so large. It's sad that you went your seperate ways, but remembering them like this is so beautiful. Somehow, it's the phrase "we were all Sailor Moon" that gets to me ;__;

Oddly, I never pretended to be a Scout/Senshi....
No, I was a Color Kid, a Care bear, Megan (From My Little Ponies), Sonic & co...>.> I think I qualify as more of a dweeb. I also never stuck to one character. If I had been a Sailor Moon character, I would have acted the part of ALL of them. I had no friends, I had to get creative. XD
I probably was never Sailor Moon due to not being able to see enough of it. Making up for that now. :3

I think all of the girls of our generation made ourselves Sailor Scouts.
Me my buds were the "Jewel Scouts" - Sailor Ruby, Diamond, Saphire, etc.
