I had this weird dream that another booked was published a few months ago. Snotlout was lost in a fog... on a bog... in a boat with someone named Hoggentrodden. I checked the books and internet to see if she existed and turned up nothing so I turned her into a character!

This is what I came up with and how Snotface Snotlout lived:

She's a healer who's dragons bring her wounded people to save. She was very busy during the war and even much later after. I'd imagine she'd be a Wanderer possibly.

Her dragons found Snotlout and so Snotlout was saved. I mean if Alvin could go through hell and back so much then why couldn't he?! Much like Alvin, It's clear he didn't survive unscathed and that fought with every ounce of strength he had to recover.

Burned all over and blind in one eye.... but alive!

It took very long for him to recover. He stayed hidden for a year or so after he was able to be on his own two feet. Years had passed and the world seemed to move on without him.

He first showed himself to Hiccup and hid by his side as his personal Bardiguard, wearing a helmet and armor to cover his identity. (Hiccup also taught some french and how to do a French accent to further hide his identity).

Eventually, he does make his way back to his family, the public and his love Mewgull. He makes up for his past (though Fishlegs is still hesitant) and obtains the official Dragonmark! Here Mewgull the Dreadful Drone and Snotface Snotlout are rulers together but over what? 👀There's many walls of texts I could write between then and there that I'll save your time on(and for future illustrations).
