Description

I've taken a break from the art I forced myself to do before and decided to try something new.

And in doing so, I created a new OC of mine.

I wanted to make a character that could fit for a fighting game.

And this is the result.

I checked out a lot of Fighting Games lately, as well as games from my past, such as Snowboard Kids.

I even learned of an expanded version of the first game "Snowboard Kids Plus" for the PSX, which I didn't even know existed.

Anyway, this character's design was mainly inspired by "Rock Howard" (Fatal Fury series) and "Nichole Couch" (Snowboard Kids Plus).

As for the Bio:

Name: Jennifer Nicols

Gender: Female

Age: 20

Jennifer is a free-spirited, energetic and friendly girl. Though she does have a cocky side and she is often seen as very arrogant by strangers.

But she is a very good and supportive friend, as all her friends and her mother can attest to. And she is very protective of the ones she loves.

She is also very brave and not afraid to stand up and do the right thing. If people need help, she will not hesitate to help, if she can.

She does however not hide her disdain towards people she dislikes, such as her father or the snobbish Melinda.

She a very skilled martial artist, having studied and learned a lot of different arts.

She is also a very good archer.

Though her preferred way of fighting is fist fighting.

She is very passionate about street fighting. She never says "No!" to a challenge (unless she is in a really bad condition) and she never gives up until the KO.

Because of her passion, she gets into fights very often. Especially with her best friend "Axel Slash", who is also a fellow street fighter.

When both of them get together, there is a rarely a time, where they don't have a good time fighting.

History

While she may not look like it, she is actually the daugher of a rich family.

Since she was born into wealth, she used to be quite the snobbish and arrogant kid.

But that changed quickly, since she was kidnapped at the age of 4 for ransom. Which was quite the traumatic experience.

And sadly, that's not the only time it happened. It happened again and again thoroughout her early childhood.

Eventually she had enough.

At the age of 7, blaming her family's fortune for her misfortune, she made the decision to burn the money of her family, hoping that'd stop the kidnappings.

She succeeded in burning lots of money, until her father stopped her.

Her parents were very angry with her, especially her father. However, her mother understood why she did it and could make it up with her daughter.

Her father however could never forgive her for burning the money. They were estranged ever since and still are to this day.

This ordeal caused a change of heart within Jennifer, causing her to become more upstanding and rebellous.

That change of heart turned out to be the best decision she ever made. Since it's because of her change, that she finally was able to make true friends.

Friends that loved and respected her for who she really was, rather than her wealth.

Her first true friend she made, was a boy just 2 years younger than her. His name was "Axel Slash".

He was a rebellious and a little mischievious. But he had a good heart and was a good friend.

He got into a lot of fist fights at school, mostly fighting bullies, who would target weaker, innocent kids.

This inspired Jennifer to learn how to fight. She thought if she could fight and defend herself, she wouldn't be kidnapped ever again.

Which this as her driving force, she got into the world of street fighting.

Axel taught her at first. But eventually she studied and learned on her own.

She also picked up archery as a hobby in her spare time and she's very good at it.

And ultimately, she found her own path in life. Making her living as a street fighter and from marksman competitions.

Despite no longer having such extreme hatred for money, she still refuses to make use of her family's fortune, preferring to stand on her own.

Jennifer lives on her own and has good, supportive friends, as well as a caring, supportive mother.

She has become something that isn't very common. A rich person, that is not an a§§hole.

And she is very grateful for it.

Especially because of one person, "Melinda Masters", daughter of the wealthy Masters family, who still is as snobbish and arrugant as Jennifer used to be.

Jennifer can't stand Melinda. Especially since she constantly reminds her of the person she could've become, if it weren't for the tragedies that befell her.

And her father still couldn't forgive her to this day. Especially since her way of life, doesn't agree with the standards of a rich family, causing her father to hate her even more.

Much to the dismay of her mother, who really wishes the family could come together again.
