Hm, well it wasn't so bad. But they could have done better. For the first time Funimation didn't live up to my total expectation.

Yeah, I don't think they chose the right voice actors for the series... and it certainly doesn't help that the Japanese cast was so amazing. That just makes the dub seem even worse

Yeah, when I first got the box set in the mail I had spend the night and we sat there for four hours and watched all 13 episodes. After sitting there for four hours, we were finally used to the voices, but then we listened to a couple seconds of it in Japanese and hated the dub again. It was too much work so I just quit trying to like it

Hmm, I see. Well, I guess I'm a rare one that tries to find the good in both verisons and treat them somewhat equally. I've been watching the japanese for two years or so, so I suppose the english will neve be up to par but I can still enjoy it. I guess I can adapt quite well.
And hey, when I can't take the english I just switch to japanese. lol
