Your panoramic sights of Los Angeles perfectly recapture and develop the sense of dark urban majesty of those ones designed by Syd Mead in 1982.
Somehow I was hoping to see more of this urbanscape in the feature but at least it's a great feast for the eyes to see them in the Watanabe's short.

I just watched the film animated short. Absolutely one of my favorite animated films [and I said so when I on Facebook when I posted it there!!]. In the tradition of the Animatrix, it's visually beautifully impressive and thought provoking (certainly MUCH better than the similar cell animated attempts by Van Helsing, Watchmen, etc). GREAT piece here and somehow manages to pump me even more for my anticipation for the film!
