Anyway, I do see hearts often in 2D. And when I do, I always think of it as a good omen, the image is bound to turn out a success!

Nope, the free limited version of UF never expires. I do wish that I had stayed with that,
but I got tempted by the layering functions and the fact that the full version lets you make much larger images.
Beyond that, I know almost nothing about it! It's just so different from FExplorer.
I'm hoping some day I can figure UF out.
If I'd started with it I would be an old hand with it by this time!
Finding hearts in 2D can be surprising too, I had a really unusual one a few months ago,
it's here, it almost looks like it's lying backward at a 30 degree angle or so:

Geez, I look back over my old wordpress blogs and I miss those days, it brings on nostalgia.
I will most likely start uploading photos to the nature/garden blog again,
but as for the fractals blog, I don't think so.
My fractals work gets gradually better, and what you see there at wordpress is OK but not that good.
The better stuff should be here on DA. It's way too much time and hard work keeping 3 sites going anyway

Yeah, LOL! My stuff over on Wordpress needs to stay separate from what I do now.
In all fairness, some of the old stuff is good IMO, but a lot of it is like you say, "What was I thinking???"
With your permission, though, if I saw any of your old moldies with the params available, I would tweak away
in hopes of turning out something worth while in my own style.....hey, that rhymes!
But I remember that you stopped giving the params away b/c of certain scary people out there

yes some of mine are okay and good but some I would rather just hide away some where
I have some I never liked but other do so i just left them there.Lol
and ya I stopped the params some but astill have them out some can't protect them for ever
and what do i care anyway's can't take them with when my times comesLol they are just parameters and lots of fun to find.

It would be a lotta work to go thru and pick out what is not very good amongst what is much better, even excellent. I get a bit lazy and just don't want a job that big, lol
I expect to be around for a few more good years
There are still people around who are new to fractals, that really surprises me but I have seen a few. Sadly I think the users of Fractal Explorer are dropping away and going to the bigger and more trendy programs. This is going to leave fractal newbies in the dust... Even I can't keep up due to a lack of time for practicing and playing...

I have been trying to remove some older one even if they are still good
but they are small in size so i just remove them and most of them did not even have comments
or fav's and some were really bad.
Yes me also still holding on to mine except for the path thing I am doing and the weekly tweaker
which I forgot due to mom passing but will get it soon
yes someone told me the other day when I made a few images using FE2 he said thanks for
trying to keep FE alive I still see many FE art out there.
