Here's a rough design I did for my own Tales of Arcadia character: The Notorious Black Knight.I was watching a few episodes of the final installment of Del Toro's Tales of Arcadia trilogy and as I am somewhat familiar with the legends of King Arthur, I came up with my own idea for a villain of the series for King Arthur to face off against, which was The Black Knight.
When I was coming up with a design for this character, I wanted him to look as dark and evil-looking as a Black Knight could be so I decided to settle for a dark, dragon-styled armor based on the design of Alduin.
As with every dark warrior, he needed to have a weapon of dark power, so I gave him "The Dragon Blade". I used Gunmar's sword as reference for the Dragon Blades' design, giving it a rough and jagged look to make it look like it's seen a lot of battle. The sword's unique ability is that it can ignite into a flaming weapon with a single incantation that only the Black Knight knows.
