Thanks! The legend of the Jackalope may have came about from the 16th century drawing of a horned hare. The first time I saw one was in a novelty shop in Arizona (it was a wonky taxidermy mount).
The fables state that a true Jackalope is a jackrabbit with antelope horns, although I have seen them many times with deer antlers. A strange creature

Yeah, after seeing your cute Jackalope, i searched internet about this mythical creature, and i was curious how the story about this kind of creature came into the world...Maybe someone saw a hare/rabbit with a part of a bush on his head maybe? So that it looked like horns? We will never know...
