What a great idea! When I was younger it seemed like guys were much less interesting to draw because there were so fewer options when it came to hair, but this makes me realize even more that there's a lot you can do with a guy character's hair. It's hard to decide which one I like best, but since I'm rockin' the shaggy hair/beard look myself, I kind of lean toward the last one.

Yeah, I know what you mean! Drawing female hairstyles usually gives me more trouble for some reason though... which I guess would be a reason to practice those instead... but anyway I just like to draw guys' hair more. There is actually a surprising amount of variety to be found with it!

Yeah, it would be fun to see a similar piece by you but with girl hairstyles instead. The good thing about guys is that they're generally shorter so you can make better use of your space, ha ha.

Eheh I know those feels! I see some artists talking in tutorials and stuff about how they draw the skull first and I'm like "LOLNOPE" and I just go straight for the hair. But drawing that first one that shows his whole head wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be, actually. ^^
