photo was taken with a Leitz Wetzlar Colorplan F2,5 90mm slide projector lens which i converted for use on the Fuji XE3.

First time this Festival was in 2005 for 3 complete days, and had 3500 visitors, in 2007 around 16.000 and in 2019 it was up to 42.000, and is now a 4 day festival. (Due to Corona there was no 2020 & 2021 edition).

The Castlefest-feeling is difficult to define, but something everyone needs to experience themselves.The highlight of the festival is the Wickerman-burning at the Saturday evening. Together with visitors, bands, exhibitors, entertainers, caterers and the staff you are living towards the moment the Wickerman is lit. The energy that is then released is a special experience that cannot be missed".
