Maintaining that godly body in such perfect condition was a huge, expensive job, but he demanded it. An army of people was on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to make sure he was always shaved, tanned and groomed to perfection. Turnover was high. Less than half the workers survived having to be so close to the huge muscleman. Many simply plunged to their deaths, some crushed or badly injured when they contacted his granite muscles, some drowned in drops of sweat. Some simply couldn’t survive the incredible heat, humidity and musk that filled the air for hundreds of feet around him. It wasn’t a job anyone wanted, but they’d all seen what he was capable of when he didn’t get his way, so they knew the sacrifice was for the greater good. The huge human sacrifice was of no consequence to him, as long as he was looking his best that’s all that mattered.
