Now this is purely fantastic work. Your balance of colour (yellow and muted blue, in opposition) is great along with your extended pan. Looks to be a second long at moderate speed or am I overestimating here? No judging by the speed probably closer to 1/15th or 1/8th, hoever this is stellar work. I"m yet to try an extended pan like this (more in that I dont have many friends who drive...).
The entire piece rings true of what you could only call quintessential new york, no?

My guess is that the photographer was in another car and had the shutter open for a few seconds. At the lest moment, the flash went off, freezing what was in front of the camera, which happened to be this taxi.
