You remind me of myself, scary xD And why should it? Embrace that which defines you, that which makes you distinct from others . After all, you want to surround yourself with those who would agree you have a cute nose or at least not so offended they run off the other direction, right? I'm sure I can only somewhat relate, and I know it's not the same, but I despised just about every physical component of my body for years growing up and, without any positive or encouraging voices, let it rather severely limit my decisions and social interactions in life... when, in reality, that fear was all in my head, some girls would and DO find me attractive, don't think I'm too this or not enough that or every element of my face is an abomination, etc. etc. You can look at your nose in the mirror for an eternity and think it's an eyesore, but if you start with the premise that there are no mistakes in the universe and everything serves a purpose, neither can there be a mistake in you. The very thing that a snowflake can feels makes it inferior to others (different, sets it apart) is that very trait other snowflakes feel are its strongest characteristics (precisely because they set it apart)... and as humans we would scoff in incredulity at the whole concept of snowflakes having self-esteem problems . I hope that's not too metaphysical for you, he he. Lol, blue eyes like that would be intense!! And most-likely Photoshopped ;D

Haha, only hate it because so many people make weird comments about it xD I get told it looks like a ski slope all the time, lol.

But, it makes me feel better than I'm not the only person out there who doesn't like things about their body - but I guess that is just human. But really other than my nose I'm not too bothered by who I am. I've come to accept everything about myself, which we all must do in time and realized its so much easier to live like that. The things we see that we hate, just like you said, other people love about us - so why hate them at all? The human mind is really interesting. We strive for a perfect that doesn't exist xD

It's good to hear you've learned to come into your own... As for me, apparently I'm a triple Earth sign (plus a Taurus) so I'm still in the process of learning my lessons, or maybe accepting them, hah It is unfortunate some are so constrained by their negative self-images that they don't give others much chance to express an interest or love those hated qualities, and lacking that same encouragement they desire, they are ever-doubtful and timid. Such a pity that some inner voices are not so loud they are heard plainly by those loved ones nearby who might be able to offer that support, or challenge what the voices say. The human mind is interesting, and often becomes strewn with landmines and sinkholes for the unwary thinker, at least for some ^-^

that's no fun. I was glad when I got laser surgery because it made props easier, but I could never do contacts before or after.

I have perfect vision though - which is why contacts bother me, Im not use to wearing them, and then I wear them 3 days straight during cons
