W00T!!! I finally finishd a Fakemon. I know its been forever. I thought of this after Kymotonian uploaded the picture of his plantation.Its name is Lish
The lily pad fins float on the surface of the water. Its eyes are just under the surface. On top of its head is a cattail.

oh yea i almost forgot to tell you, i finally got around to practing a bit of Sugi-style coloring lol. i cant remember if youve been watching me or not since we met through the..."pillbug fakemon" incident

Cool. I like it. I think though that if the shading wasnt blurred in as much as it is it would look much more Sugi like.

ah but another opinion said it wasnt blurred ENOUGH. *sigh* >.> lol
i suppose its really a personal opinion when it comes down to it. and there are differences in color hue and the shading of the cards between generations so maybe those are the reasons for all of the little differences between all of our Sugi fakemon styles, cuz ive found that i can actually tell the difference between one fakemon artist's REALLY good sugi drawing and another's sugi drawing o_O lol. lol his style is becoming like a study and theory of art all on its own XD lol

If you ask most people who do Sugi style Im sure they would agree with me. I have studied his art closely. If you look his art usually has 2 or more solid lines for the shadow. They are not blurred but because of the closeness of the lines they do occasionally appear blurred.

ah yea thats what i thought originally, but apparently my shading was TOO sharp, and once i blurred it most people said it was much better and didnt mention it being TOO blurred when i asked for any further critique...
