Description
My entry for the contest. It depicts Diablo's shadow overhanging the Archangel of Death. I feel that as wise as Malthael may be, attempting to bend the will of the black Soul stone will be his undoing, something even his remnant wisdom may not even forsee.
To be honest, this is my first official work in 2d painting. I'm more into 3d, but thought I'd give this a try.
This is fan art, and credit to the characters and their designs go to Blizzard entertainment.
