It's a bit late now...but it's finally done! This thing had been tormenting for nearly a month and it finally saw the light of day...As usual, drawn, coloured and shaded in SAI and finishing in PS CS3
Time taken: ~8hrs.
Layers used: probably ~60

Well, I'll start with the overall effect of the picture. I like the watercolor effect and the natural bluring that comes with it. It adds to the after effect on the lights (wings?) and the window.
Also to the other bright hues in the room like the plate and the mug. The only place it's not present is on Patchy herself. Though there is a bright hue on the fur portion of her hat.
As it is Patchy, she's always reading so she has a thin book with her. She seems engrossed in it as she's about to eat a cookie. As Patchy is largely indifferent to a lot of things. the expression on her face is normal for her.
All and all a good piece.

Thanks, actually I took out a portion of glow on her face since I thought it would make it difficult to see the already difficult to see facial features XD. I think I still have a lot of difficulties with hair colouring and anatomy (arm and hand in particular).
