The new iTunes 11 icon makes the Mac App Store icon look flat, boring and old. So, I needed to make it look cool, but still Apple-like - and since the iTunes and App Store icons have always looked very similar, I decided to make it look like the iTunes 11 icon. This is what I ended up with, feel free to download and use it! I reckon this is what the icon will look like in the next Mac OS anyway, but here it is early!I slightly changed the colour of the icon.
The outline of the icon is now more 3D.
The 'A' is now more metallic, and embossed. It also has more shadow than before.
The icon is now more 3D (more shadow)
The new shine effect from the iTunes 11 icon replaces the flatter shine of before.
Let me know if theres anything else that needs changing!
