i took this during a hike up 'flattop' just outside of anchorage, alaska. i've always liked that model-train-set appearance that some landscapes can have at certain times of the day. i think the sunlight created that on the side of this hill.from where i was standing, Mount McKinley (the tallest mountain in North America) was visible behind me.
