This is a collection of ceramic pendants I have recently made.

Descriptions:

first: [sold] close up: [link] 2" stoneware disk with abstract design in brown and green earthy tones. Dangling from the bottom are two leaves and coiled black wire each holding a vintage Tagua nut button and a antique Victorian faceted black glass bead. Currently has a 34" braided cord with gemstone beads that amazingly match the ceramic glaze colors. (Back is plain, unglazed)

second: 1 & 1/4" oval stoneware disk with impressed design from the cross section of a seed pod. Glazed in dark green and gray. Back has a raised design of tiny pine needle sprigs, stained in iron oxide, unglazed. Shown with the same cord as in 1.

third: 1 & 3/4" stoneware disk with a raised design of a Viking. Orange colors on a gray background. Back has an impressed celtic knot design colored with iron oxide, unglazed. Currently has a 3 & 1/2" braided cord and gold tone ring for keys or whatever.

fourth: Raku ceramic geometric shapes. My first attempts at any ceramic jewelry experimants from 2004. A modified diamond shape, 1 & 1/4 " long with snake skin like impressed design. White glaze with carbon, orange and a few inked gold highlights. Back is unglazed carbon black. Next is a slender angular shape, 1 & 3/4" x 1/2". Simple but teriffic gold and copper metallic glaze. Unglazed carbon back.

3 stoneware ceramic pendants. All feature blue glaze highlights. 1 & 3/4" fern (iron oxide heart on back); 1 & 1/2" grey diamond shape with pierced 'claw' hole which I might embellish with some tiny beads spewing out of it on cord or wire, back is inked in a marbled blue. 1" heart shape with vague celtic pattern impressed in, faint unglazed stamp of a glowing candle on the back.
