I'm still perfecting my digital painting technique and I haven't found a process for doing hair yet that I like so I left it unshaded.

I wanted to do a piece working with movement and color as well as mood. So I chose to depict Nia channeling the power of her patron goddess Friiaa, ruler of Fire and Passion. Rebirth through destruction.

Not exactly finished, but I'm burnt out... so here you go.
