"Niiiiiiaaaaaaa!" she heard him call.

She was in dream land, completely swept away by thoughts of a certain white haired elf who dashingly had rescued her from the grasp of those who dared call themselves "The Nameless Ones." Stupid magic-phobic vigilantes that deserved to burn in her wrath- but that was besides the point. For now in her dreams her savior had completely swept her off her feet, his hand tenderly placed on her waist, her hand in his other. Together they danced, on and on until....

She felt a finger prod her between the shoulder blades, reality jumping back at her in sharp focus. She grabbed the nearest available object- which happened to be her wand- and with out even thinking fired off a spell at whom ever had dared interrupt her dream.

She heard a strangled "Yelp" and opened her eyes. There was Daesi, pinned against the wall, chest heaving. Right above his shoulder was a well placed scorch mark from the spell that narrowly missed him.

He turned tail, and proceeded to stomp up the stairs to his study where she distinctly heard the door slam followed by a muttered yelling of "I hate women!"

That could have gone better.

This is the product of an inside joke between me and my girlfriend and much teasing by me. You see we do a lot of TTRPGing together and her characters generaly fall head over heals for mine, the problem being this time, well, Daesi already has a lover in my plot- a male lover at that. Neadless to say Nia still tries.

So this is the result of coming up with a dream situation for Nia, imagining herself as a long haired beauty swept away by a hunky lover. In reality she has short hair (due to a curse) and a homely appearance, and Daesi is a bit of a waif with a problem of being too charming for his own good.

Not to mention Nia's "Shoot first, think later" attitude.

Next piece "Do not tickle a sleeping mage."

But anyways this image was inspired by a Disney Princesses coloring book that my sister has. Yes I'm a bit of a hopeless Disney fan (the classics anyway). The origonal image was of Cinderella and Prince Charming hence the title.
