Yay angst!So I kinda hurried through this one. I move into my dorm tomorrow and I had no intention of finishing this on my laptop, so I finished it in a hurry, hence the lame background. Anyway, I just felt like drawing Saix n Xemnas. Man, there's so many things in this picture I wish I could go back and fix. *sigh* Oh well.
I absolutly adore Saix's hair in this picture though! X3

I interpret this as "Xemnas is remembering his Other, Xehanort's memories, and remembers the new emotion of hopelessness, because it was his own research that did him in."

It also reminds me of a scene in a KH rp I did where Xemnas collapsed due to injury and I wrote as Saix to help him out...
The antagonist should be shown as being friends too, IMO.

For once, I'm glad to see a scene like this. When I first ooked at it, I thought "Oh damn, a Saix/Xemnas picture." But, seeing it in a diffrent perspectctive, I simply see this as Saix as concerned as he can be (in his state) for Xemnas. Maybe he's having a temper tantrum over the fact that he doesn't have Kingdom Hearts. *pats Xemnas* Don't worry... You'll get it one day!

Ahhh. This is an excellent hurt/comfort picture! The postures communicate a lot in themselves and the expressions are good; Xemnas's pain is obvious and Saïx looks very much like himself with a look that is a cross between indifference and concern, like he can't figure out why he cares. Or else he knows something we don't know, such as that Xemnas has got one of his migraines after staying up two consecutive nights pontificating at Kingdom Hearts, and Saïx is very much used to this by now. ^^
I really like your shading: that "two-fold" technique that you've used so that there are both clearly outlined shadows and more vague fades between darker and lighter areas gives the piece an interesting feel of something halfway between a cartoon and an airbrush painting. The hair and skintones are terribly pretty.
For some reason, my favourite parts of this picture are Xemnas's face and Saïx's hands and legs. (Saïx's legs omg yay!
