Another ref update for my favourite stagmuffin <3Was feeling a little down about my art and things in general, so I figured what better way to cheer myself up than by drawing my Accadude? ;u;
He's like 'Silly orengel, y u fuss over ridiculous things when you could be fussing over me.'
He's right, of course.
Breeding Notes:
Accalon is closed for public breeding! He will only breed with his mate, Failthe.
His breeding is now open to any does, though they must request a child from him -- he won't seek them out. Any fawns born from does he hasn't taken as mates will receive their birthright title but will not live in his grove with him and his family. He will, however, expect them to adhere to his family rules and proper societal values, and he will visit them.

DetailsPersonality: He has never been anything but respected and revered - with a handsome coat (albeit with some slightly unseemly lightening), heavy muscles and his well-bred, regal mannerisms, Accalon expects nothing less than complete subservience from those around him. A traditionalist in every sense of the word, Accalon is a firm believer in the class system and in does being quiet and submissive - to him, at least. He tolerates no silliness, and will not hesitate to tell others exactly what he thinks of them.
He despises the games other royals play. All the manipulation and backtalk... he finds it cowardly and characteristic of bad breeding and 'cheap' royals. He has no respect for those who are two-faced, and for those who are weak. He does not like Drustan, believing him to be an unfit king; as if his stature and colour are not clear enough indicators, then his tendency to bow over under pressure and listen to minds other than his own prove the point. Accalon has no love for politics, and avoids petty herd drama as much as he can. However if asked, he does not hide his views, and will openly disparage those he considers unfit.
He doesn't spare much thought for commoners, believing them to be - on the whole - beneath his notice. However he gives credit where credit is due, and he won't hold back from commending any stag he believes worthy of his notice simply because of their bloodline. Nothing makes or breaks his opinion of another more than their own actions - he would hold a guard of unremarkable blood in higher esteem than a royal who acts silly and does nothing more than blow hot air.
As for does, he simply has no particular interest in them. Princesses - and the odd Lady or two - he will treat with the bare minimum courtesy required to be polite, though he will interact no further than a curt greeting and perhaps a nod. Common does he pays absolutely no mind to, looking through them as if they are air. The only does he pays particular attention to are his mother, who he respects greatly, and his mate, who he has a notable soft spot for.
Appearance: Large and heavyset, with thick muscles spread over his body. Accalon always looks unimpressed, with a firm set to his mouth that never softens except - rarely - in the private presence of his mate. He keeps himself unadorned, finding decorations frivolous and vain. His mane is kept short, as he dislikes when the lengths get in his way.
History: Born the first son to a respected lord and lady, Accalon is a lord from a particularly good line. He was raised in a perfectly respectable family, with both his parents schooling him in decorum, manners and diplomacy. From a young age, he decided he had no patience for diplomatic tiptoeing and not a political bone in his body. The fact that the line of Kings had long since passed beyond his family's line meant his parents did not fight him too much on this, allowing him to speak as he wished.
Accalon spent several years in training with the guards. Not to give up his title or to join the ranks, but simply to learn how to defend himself and be a true leader, as his father insisted any proper royal should. He stayed with the royal guard for several years before his father finally recalled him.
After rejoining society, he spent a time reacquainting himself with life as a royal. This was helped along greatly by his father, who welcomed him back proudly and reintroduced him to society.
When he was nine, he was approached by a doe during rut, and agreed for the first time to sire a fawn. His son was born the next season, a perfect little dark child. Emboldened by the successful production of a dark lordling, the doe returned once again the next season to secure a sibling for their child. The result the second time was an equally dark child -- but one with his father's frosty coat.
Accalon is proud of his sons, and has seen them both successfully into the guard ranks, as per his family's tradition. He remains close to them, and they journey to meet him whenever either has time off

I... I just.. Curse you for having such a beautiful stag. When I was first joining fawnlings which was not long ago I saw Accalon and he has been so pretty ever since and probably will be to me for awhile which probably sounds creepy, but it's true..
