I still like this version of Bumblebee best. As far as the movie, well, Peter Cullen was pretty good in it, too, but would it have killed them to put a little more heart into the story line?

At least I thought the movie was alright...I didn't watch G1 before that though, so it DID get into G1, I will say that much.
Hopefully they'll fix the "flaws" in the sequels.

I´m just begging that they put Optimus´ mouth in the right place and that they leave out all the pointless human storylines.

In defense, Spike was kinda important in G1. He helped the Autobots learn about Earth, and some of that knowledge helped to create the Dinobots.
I dunno about the movie, but yeah.

In offense, Sam only wanted to get laid. The movie really begins when he is introduced to us that way and the movie ends when he gets laid ON TOP OF BUMBLEBEE WHILE THE OTHER AUTOBOTS WATCH...

What is really wrong with the movie? I mean yeah, there wasn't a whole lot of giant robot ACTION!!!, and Megatron didn't even really show up until 20 minutes before the movie ended, and Frenzy really didn't do anything but make people laugh, but... the graphics were cool!

...I´ll pay u with a small autobot drawing if you can describe me precisely what went on everytime two transformers clashed.
The action stepped aside to show us humans running scared, then cut back to decepticon falling with his ass on a plate. Or what´s worse SUPER ZOOMED SHAKY BLURRY CAM WITH GIANT SCRAPS OF METAL CLASHING. I couldn´t tell apart the trasnformers! Every time I saw yellow I thought it was Bumblebee but it was Ratchet, not to mention every time ironhide was on screen I thought he was a decepticon. AND I SAW THE MOVIE TWICE.
Not to mention characters appearing for hours to make jokes and then dissappearing entirely once the joke was told. Like sam´s best friend, or the hot technician with the hacker.
AND BUMBLEBEE GOLDEN SHOWERING A HUMAN.

Much of the movie sucked for those who are totally into Transformers, like me an' me brother, but most of the masses liked the little jokes like high phermone levels and a mute robot using random radio clips to convey speech, like my mother.
Although some parts were funny, like Ironhide wanting to kill Sam's parents ("I'm just sayin', we COULD."), or seeing 'to punish and enslave' on a cop car. It was just not enough for us super-fans.

It was more of a parody of Transformers. American Pie with robots. It´s 2 hours 20 minutes, but only 40 minutes that are really transformers related. Not to mention the director has no heart, he kills an autobot at the end and you don`t realize nor feel for it, not even when they come and say "yo, Optimus, Jazz is dead..." "Pitty...well, life goes on..."
I could go for hours, let´s just say I have my reasons.

On another note, I watched that movie recently. And it didn't suck. It was mediocre, which, in my opinion, is far worse.

I mean, c'mon. Something bad will be etched in your memory forever, even if it is bad. Something mediocre will disappear within a week, if not less. And that movie is nothing memorable. The jokes were lame. Not bad-lame. Just... lame ("OMG LYK ITS A ROBOT IT MUST BE JAPNAESES!11Oneone").
I rest my case.
