Description Series of "paintings" depicting crows (they're heads are skulls because I wanted a focal point with lots of detail while remaining loose and abstract everywhere else) with photographs of downtown Vancouver in the backgrounds.

I was more than a little blown away when I saw this.
The splatter effect is so well done here.

This series is awesome! This one stands out for its drama and fluidity. I agree with the person above that the mix of textures works great.

I love this series! I think the nice sharp detail of the skulls make an excellent focal point, and I love the different textures with the dark washes and splatters (india ink?). Anyway, totally love it, and I think this one's my favorite.

Very fond of these birds, though I have to say that this one is definately my favourite. The crow's pose is very fluid, and it's a nice line to follow with the eye.

Vancouver is nice, in it's coastal gritty way.
