I love the composition leading lines and colors.. everything about this. but after I looked at it for a while it struck quite a bit of emotion with me.
I interpreted it .. as if one girl is seeing a friend who passed away in a dream.
It's like the girl who is being hugged is telling the other girl to let go. That she simply doesn't exit.

as corny as it may sound that is what I see.
