I never thought of Vulpix as a dog. More of a fox, but I think this style is very unique!

Thank you! Vulpix is definitely vulpine, but tail wagging is something which domesticated foxes do as well! Just like dogs domesticated foxes have been bred so that they don't go through 'puberty' and with that genetic change come a number of dog like traits.
