Sorry for the bad photo quality... But anyways; I drew this dragon this evening, wanting to draw one again since I used to be totally obsessed with dragons when I was younger, but haven't really drawn any dragons since.I hope this one looks alright
Drawn with a mechanical pencil and colored with Caran D'Ache colored pencils. The paper is A3 sized.

i used to be obsessed with drawing dragons when I was younger too, they were all I ever drew for a long time. Β But I don't draw them anymore either...not sure why

This Dragon is so beautifully rendered, this is the showing the direction I would love to achieve!
Chinese ones are my preferred, also because of the meaning behind of them. Anyway, this one seems to come right out of the paper, like it was living.
If this would stand before me, I sure would have respect for that being, and be intimidated. You've just did it, wonderfully did it and I can't wait to see more from you.

A dragon from you? Now this is a special moment. I am 30 and still love dragons, they've always been a muse of mine. Though my favorite dragons are of the western variety; this is actually a well though out eastern dragon. I base my opinion how how the anatomy would work on a snake like dragon in addition to the mythology put in place throughout Asia. One of the greatest patience tests I think on drawing dragons or for that matter, any scaly creature in the scales them selves. It's hard to maintain consistency and allow them to follow the curvature on the body so again, well done. Β

Geez, this beautiful beast seems to almost jump from the canvas! In addition to it, you blew my mind away...
On the other hand, this depiction doesn't look "alright" but wonderful. Moreover, the shading and coloring look very good, at least for me.
Finally, I give you my compliments for drawing something you love so much; dragons represent a concept we love regardless of the age... as I see it.
