Michael is a weapons specialist for the military. He had been around the military two years longer than Amelia and was in a previous war before the current one with the slime. He prefers to work on weapons than to go on the fields; updates Amelia's weapon on a daily basis, despite her suspension.

Janet is an expectant mother of aliens Amelia met on the intergalactic colony liner in a pregnancy meeting, being farther along with her litter of children. She's very optimistic about her pregnancy, despite knowing her stomach will burst when it's time and is scheduled to return back to the planet of her lover. On a daily basis, Janet makes sure Amelia is eating right and not straining herself during her workouts.
