I always talk about how Ian skates, but I've never put the pencil to paper! Or board to rail, rather.
It's kinda important, seeing as his only other skills are earning minimum wage and being dead. XD So I figured, might as well get some posing practice in before I actually start making the comic! Don't wanna get stuck!

Nothing can come between Ian and his love for skateboarding, not even death! Ever since he could bust his kneecaps on cold hard concrete, he's been bombin' hills and landin' sick tricks! His main man Manny always told him he should try going pro, but he's never had the guts to do it. It'd be a dream come true though! He'd probably die from shock if he wasn't already... well, y'know.

That's another problem, it'd be difficult being a well-known skater and trying to keep your immortality a secret. Imagine screwing up a trick and accidentally decapitating yourself on live television only to heal up in a span of 5 minutes. He'd be on a one-way trip to a government testing lab faster than you could say "Pop-Shuvit"!

He doesn't mind being "famous" locally, though. If they don't know him as the "emo kid behind the register at the video store", they know him as "that skater dude who smokes a lot". And besides, it gives him an excuse to hurt himself without looking like a complete masochistic weirdo! Being numb ain't gonna stop him from shreddin' it! Sk8 or die, dude!

Hope y'all like it!!! This was really fun to draw! It's good to step outta yer artistic comfort zone every now and then, y'know!~
