Here's my half of an art trade with my pal !
Haven't done one of these in forever!They wanted me to draw their characters Makaudrey and Giesel!
There's a funny story behind this one! I drew these two as almost the same size at first, but then I realized that Giesel is actually 17 ft tall. Whoops! XD The original plan was to have them next to each other, so I decided to improvise and make something silly!
Makaudrey's just going to an 'ol fashioned Peach Eatin' Contest with a whole handpicked basket, only to find out that Giesel's there too! Of course, Giesel's favorite food is peaches, and his empty stomach's probably 2x the size of a swimming pool. This is gonna be some stiff competition... if any at all. Seems pretty one-sided to me!
And where the heck did he get those giant peaches from?!
Weird story, but hey! This was a blast to make! I've been waiting to draw Makaudrey again for some time, and Giesel's design is all new! Tried to make his markings glow a little bit!
